“อย่าประพฤติตามอย่างคนในยุคนี้ แต่จงรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงจิตใจ แล้วอุปนิสัยของท่านจึงจะเปลี่ยนใหม่ เพื่อท่านจะได้ทราบน้ำพระทัยของพระเจ้า จะได้รู้ว่าอะไรดี อะไรเป็นที่ชอบพระทัยและอะไรดียอดเยี่ยม” โรม 12:2
พระเยซูคริสต์ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตของเราจริงหรือเปล่า?
เมื่อเราได้รับเชื่อเอาพระเยซูคริสต์เป็นพระผู้ช่วยให้รอดแล้ว ชีวิตของเราต้องเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลง เพราะชีวิตก่อนการได้พบพระเยซูคริสต์กับชีวิตเมื่อมีพระเยซูคริสต์แล้วย่อมไม่เหมือนเดิม
หลายท่านเข้าใจว่า หลังจากการได้รับบัพติสมา ชีวิตท่านได้เกิดใหม่อีกครั้งแล้ว ชีวิตของท่านเกิดเปลี่ยนแปลง ทำให้ชีวิตของท่านดีขึ้น ธุรกิจของท่านดีขึ้น ครอบครัวของท่านมีความสุขมากขึ้น ท่านมีฐานะทางสังคมที่ดีขึ้น ท่านประสบความสำเร็จในชีวิตอีกมากมาย เพราะพระเจ้าอวยพระพรให้ท่านมากกว่าที่ท่านคิด ขอบคุณพระเจ้าที่ท่านรู้สึกว่าชีวิตของท่านเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงหลังการรับเชื่อ และทำให้ท่านมีความสุขมากขึ้น
แต่อยากเชิญชวนให้ท่านคิดพิจารณาอีกครั้งว่า
Uพระเยซูคริสต์ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตของท่านอย่างไร? (How has Jesus Christ changed your life?)
เมื่อท่านได้รับเอาพระเยซูคริสต์เข้าไปในชีวิตของท่านแล้ว ชีวิตของท่านเปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากเดิมจริงๆหรือไม่? หรือชีวิตส่วนใหญ่ของท่านยังคงดำเนินไปอย่างปกติ มีสิ่งที่เพิ่มขึ้นมาในชีวิตคือท่านคือท่านไปนมัสการพระเจ้า ท่านมีเพื่อนพี่น้องในพระคริสต์มากขึ้น ท่านได้ร่วมกิจกรรมของคริสตจักร พระเยซูคริสต์เปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตของท่านเพียงแค่นี้หรือ?
Uท่านมองโลกด้วยสายตาที่แตกต่างไปจากเดิมหรือเปล่า? (Do you see the world through different eyes?)
ถ้าท่านยังมองโลกด้วยสายตาคู่เดิมอยู่ แสดงว่าพระเยซูคริสต์ยังไม่ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิตของท่านจริง เพราะถ้าพระเยซูคริสต์อยู่ในตัวของท่านจริงๆแล้ว ท่านจะต้องมองโลกด้วยสายตาคู่ใหม่ เป็นสายตาคู่เดียวกันกับพระเยซูคริสต์ (Seeing the world as Jesus Christ saw it.) ทำให้ท่านเห็นภาพสังคมเป็นภาพเดียวกันกับที่พระเยซูคริสต์เห็น ทัศนคติในการมองโลกของท่านต้องเปลี่ยนไปเป็นทัศนคติเดียวกันกับทัศนคติของพระเยซูคริสต์ ฟิลิปปี. 2:5 “ท่านจงมีน้ำใจต่อกันเหมือนอย่างที่มีในพระเยซูคริสต์” และ ความนึกคิดของท่านต้องเปลี่ยนไปเป็นความนึกคิดเดียวกันกับพระเยซูคริสต์
Uหัวใจของท่านเปลี่ยนแปลงหรือไม่? (Has your heart changed?)
ถ้าท่านมีพระเยซูคริสต์แล้วหัวใจของท่านที่เคยแข็งกระด้างจะถูกทำให้นุ่มนวลลงด้วยความรักของพระเยซูคริสต์ (Softened by the love of Jesus Christ) ทำให้ท่านทนไม่ได้ที่ปล่อยให้คนในสังคมได้รับบาดเจ็บโดยไม่ได้รับการช่วยเหลือเยียวยา เพราะสายตาของท่านที่มองโลกได้เปลี่ยนเป็นสายตาแบบที่พระเยซูคริสต์มองโลก เป็นสายตาแห่งความรักและห่วงใย (Eyes of compassion) ทัศนคติในการมองโลกของท่านถูกเปลี่ยนไปเป็นทัศนคติแบบพระเยซูคริสต์ และหัวใจของท่านถูกเปลี่ยนให้อ่อนโยนแบบหัวใจของพระเยซูคริสต์
การถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงของท่านจึงทำให้ท่านทนอยู่เฉยอีกต่อไปไม่ได้ เกิดความรู้สึกร้อนรนต้องออกไปช่วยเหลือผู้ที่ทุกข์ยากลำบากในสังคม เพราะพระเยซูคริสต์ต้องการทำให้มนุษย์ที่พระองค์ทรงรักและเมตตามีความสุข ดังนั้นท่านจึงควรมีความต้องการแบบเดียวกับพระเยซูคริสต์ คือการทำให้คนอื่นมีความสุขไม่ใช่ทำให้ตัวเองมีความสุข และเป็นเหตุที่ทำให้เราต้องทำพันธกิจรับใช้พระเจ้า
Hazrat Inayat Khan กล่าวว่า “Happy is he who does good to others; miserable is he who expects good from others”
ความสุขคือ ผู้นั้นที่ได้ทำการดีให้ผู้อื่น ความหายนะคือผู้นั้นที่คาดหวังการดีที่ผู้อื่นจะกระทำให้
ท่านได้ถูกเปลี่ยนแปลงเพราะการได้รู้จักพระเยซูคริสต์หรือเปล่า? J อาเมน!
Change Your Mind
“Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God---what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.” Roman 12:2 [GNB]
Has Jesus Christ really changed your life?
After we have received Jesus Christ as our savior, our lives must change - because the ones before knowing Jesus Christ, and the ones after having Him, must not be the same.
Many people assume that after having been baptized, they were reborn and their lives had definitely changed in a positive way. Their businesses are better than before. They have more happiness in their families. They have a higher social status and much more success in their lives because God has blessed them more than their expectations. Thank the Lord that you have realized that your lives have been changed after you have received Jesus Christ and you are happier now.
But I would like to encourage you to reconsider these:
How has Jesus Christ changed your life?
Has your life truly changed after receiving Jesus Christ? Do you still lead the same normal life? Or do you just add these things into your life: going to church, having more Christian friends and participating in church activities. Are these the ways Jesus Christ has changed your life?
Do you see the world through different eyes?
If you remain seeing the world with your old eyes, Jesus Christ has not really changed your life yet. If Jesus Christ has truly come into your life, then you have to see the world with a new pair of eyes - the same eyes as Jesus Christ. And, you will see the same world as Jesus Christ did. Your attitude towards the world will be changed and became like the ones of Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:5 [GNB] “The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had.” Your thoughts will be converted to become identical with the ones of Jesus Christ.
Has your heart changed?
When you have Jesus Christ in your heart, your once hardened heart will be softened by the love of Jesus Christ. Since your heart became a softened one, you can no longer let people in our society being hurt without assistance and healing. Now you see the world with the same eyes as Jesus Christ, eyes of compassion, eyes of love and eyes of concern. Your attitude in seeing the world has also changed to be the same attitude as of Jesus Christ, and your heart has also changed to a soften heart as the one of Jesus Christ.
The change in your life is so remarkable that you cannot resist standing still anymore. You have an enthusiastic feeling that you have to go out and help those who are suffering and have difficulties in our society. Because Jesus Christ wants to see happiness and content in the lives of all the people whom He loves and cares for so much. Therefore, you must have the same need as Jesus Christ: in making others happy, not yourself. This is the reason why we have to do our mission in serving the Lord.

ARE YOU CHANGED AS A RESULT OF KNOWING JESUS CHRIST? Amen!
